KNTL Receives Honour & ₹1 Lakh Award for Humanitarian Services

The Kangleipak News Tengbang Lup (KNTL) was honoured with a cash award of ₹1 lakh along with a memento by the Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Memorial Award Committee, Manipur, in recognition of its outstanding humanitarian services.

The award was presented yesterday at the Manipur Press Club (Loktak Hall) during a programme organised by the Award Committee.

KNTL was recognised for its sustained humanitarian initiatives, particularly its efforts to support needy and underprivileged patients and families in distress.

Despite facing various challenges, KNTL has continued to extend assistance to patients admitted to hospitals and economically vulnerable families through voluntary blood donation drives and direct support.

It may be recalled that since September 2019, KNTL has been actively carrying out humanitarian services, including blood donation programmes, to help patients in critical need. The organisation’s continuous commitment to humanity and social responsibility was acknowledged through the Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Memorial Award.

On behalf of KNTL, its executive members and general members expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Memorial Award Committee, Manipur, for recognising and encouraging their humanitarian work.

The organisation reaffirmed its resolve to continue serving society with dedication and compassion in the days to come.
