March 5, 2025: In response to a public notice issued by Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Kuki villages along NH-37, including Phaitol, Tatbung, Lhangnom, and Muktokhal, have surrendered arms, ammunition, and accessories to the Tamenglong District Police.
The surrender took place today at Phaitol village, Tousem Sub-Division, in the presence of officials from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the 38 Assam Rifles (AR).
