The Governing Council of the Kuki-Zo Council (KZC) has resolved to present the collective position of its constituent members before MLAs and leaders of the Suspension of Operation (SoO) groups during a crucial meeting scheduled for May 16, 2025, in Guwahati.
This decision was among the key outcomes of the KZC’s first Governing Council meeting held at noon today in Churachandpur district.
The Council deliberated on the community’s political future, including its demand for a separate administration.
Among other resolutions, the Council approved the expansion of the KZC cabinet, reaffirmed its guiding principles without amendment, and agreed to formulate a comprehensive budget with contributions from all member bodies.
