Feb. 16, 2025: The Kuki-Zo community is all set to accelerate its demands for bifurcation of Manipur, as instruction has been issued to all the Kuki Frontal Organization to organize a mass rally in all 6 districts of Manipur demanding ‘Separate Administration’ on the 18th of February, in all the Kuki inhabitant area of Manipur.
The said rally is asked to focus on demands for ‘Separate Administration-Union Territory with Legislature’ as an immediate political solution for the Kuki-Zo. For the said, the Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum (ITLF) has been asked to organize for Churachandpur, Lamka; Committee on Tribal Unity (CoTU) & Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills for Kangpokpi; Indigenous Tribes Advocacy Committee (ITAC) and Kuki Inpi for Pherzawl & Jiribam, including Noney; Kuki Inpi Tengnoupal for Tengnoupal, Hill Tribal Council for Moreh, Kuki Inpi Chandel & Kulki Cheif Association Chandel.
And the Kuki Student Organization (Delhi) and Kuki-Zo’s Women Forum in Delhi have also been asked to organize a rally for ‘Separate Administration’ in New Delhi.
