Imphal: Jan 23 : In a bid to alleviate exam-related stress among students, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Lamphelpat, recently hosted an inter-school quiz competition as part of the Pariksha Pe Charcha initiative.
Originating in 2018 under the Ministry of Education, Pariksha Pe Charcha aims to foster a conducive environment for students preparing for board exams, emphasizing holistic learning over academic pressure.
Addressing the event, Principal Vishwanath Namaram highlighted the annual significance of Pariksha Pe Charcha, wherein Prime Minister Narendra Modi engages directly with students, offering motivational insights ahead of their board exams.
The event featured screenings of five motivational animated films profiling historical figures such as Tatya Tope, Rani Laxmi Bai, U Tirot Sing Syiem, Bir Tikendrajit, and Lachit Borphukan. These narratives aimed to inspire and resonate with the young participants.
The quiz competition saw spirited participation from students representing 10 different schools. Heritage Convent School emerged victorious, clinching both the first and second positions, while Keishamthong High School secured the third spot.
