April 23, 2025 : In a successful operation, security forces on Tuesday apprehended a member of the proscribed outfit Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) from Keibi Heikak Mapal under Sagolmang Police Station in Imphal East District.
The arrested individual has been identified as 45-year-old Sairem Ibungo. Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the security personnel intercepted and detained him, leading to the recovery of several items.
Seized from his possession were One four-wheeler vehicle, Two mobile phones, One wallet containing ₹2,600 in cash.
