The Manipur Fire Service inaugurated a new Fire Sub-Station at Lamlai today, strengthening emergency response for residents of the area.
The programme was attended by Lamlai AC MLA, the DC Imphal East, Director Fire Service L. Nabachandra Singh, SDO Sawombung, OC Lamlai, local leaders and residents.
Speaking at the event, the Fire Service Director said the long-pending need for a sub-station in Lamlai has finally been fulfilled, enabling faster and more effective response to fire incidents and other emergencies. He added that timely action is crucial, especially given the frequent fire-related incidents in the region.
The Lamlai Fire Sub-Station will now operate fully, and the public has been urged to contact the emergency number 6909014956 for immediate assistance.
