The Lanngambi Village Level Federation, BMMU Bishnupur CD Block, celebrated its first anniversary at Thangalawai Mamang Leikai Mandop, reaffirming its mission to strengthen self-help groups, empower women, and promote sustainable community development.
Thanga MLA Tongbram Robindro Singh attended the programme as Chief Guest and lauded the federation’s achievements over the past year. In his address, he emphasised the power of collective action in driving positive change, stating, “When communities stand together, progress becomes inevitable. The work done here in Thangalawai is an inspiring example of how grassroots efforts can transform lives.” He further assured his continued support for initiatives focused on skill development, financial independence, and livelihood enhancement.
Distinguished attendees included G. Kavita Devi, State Mission Manager (IBCB), MSRLM; Salam Bikram Singh, CC BMMU Bishnupur CD Block; N. Ramananda Singh, Pradhan Kha Thinungei GP; and M. Mangi Devi, President of Maning Leikai Meira Paibi, along with other community leaders and representatives.
