Leikol (Leimarol Khorjeikol), Manipur, on Monday conferred the “Chongtham Bimalabasanta Award, 2025” (Lifetime Achievement Award) upon radio broadcaster and renowned artiste Ayekpam Ningol Chongtham Ongbi Kamala, in recognition of her lifelong contribution to society and culture.
The award presentation ceremony was held at the Loktak Hall of Manipur Press Club in Imphal.
Heirok Assembly Constituency MLA Thokchom Radheshyam attended the programme as the Chief Guest.
President of Leikol (Leimarol Khorjeikol), Manipur, Ch. Subadani presided over the function, while former Convenor of the Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Prof. Huirem Behari, attended as the Guest of Honour.
