Feb 23, 2025: Locals of Kwakeithel Moirangpurel Leikai, Khagempalli Panthak, and Nganappi Thong Mapal condemn the incident of placing a grenade around the area by miscreants and demand clarification from whoever committed the act.
The said grenade was found hanging at the bottom of a festoon at Nganappi Thong Mapal in Imphal West, with some brokenly constructed words written on it. A police team from Imphal West arrived at the spot and removed it safely. So far, it is not known for what reason or who committed the act.
The local leaders, in condemnation, urged that such activities should not be repeated in the future in areas where people commute daily.
