M.B. College Signs Landmark MoU with Himachal-Based Pratibha Spandan

M.B. College, Imphal, has announced that it has entered into a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pratibha Spandan, Himachal Pradesh, paving the way for a three-year academic and community-oriented collaboration.

According to a release, the MoU signed on October 27 focuses on knowledge exchange between faculty and scholars of the two institutions, without any financial obligations on either side.

The partnership will include conferences, seminars, and awareness programmes on issues such as human trafficking, gender injustice, environmental concerns, health, education, and other contemporary topics.

The institutions have also agreed to jointly publish an international peer-reviewed academic journal titled “Confluence of Knowledge: A Multidisciplinary International Peer-Reviewed/Referred Journal.” Both sides will share equal editorial responsibilities, and the publication will involve no financial commitments.

It stated that the collaboration aims to promote the Indian knowledge system, culture, yoga, ethics, human values, and heritage through various social activities.

The release said the MoU is valid for three years and may be renewed with mutual consent.

The agreement was signed by Principal Dr. Bhabananda Singh, Vice-Principal L. Dwijendra, and IQAC Coordinator Dr. N. Somorendro on behalf of M.B. College, while Founder Dr. Mritunjay Sharma, President Dr. Nirmal Singh, and General Secretary Dr. Balbir Singh signed for Pratibha Spandan.

College authorities noted that this inter-state partnership marks a significant step toward national academic discourse and enhanced community welfare.
