Imphal, 17th August: Major D S Paosho, a member of the Poumai Naga community, has been honoured with the prestigious Bar to Sena Medal (Gallantry) in recognition of his valour and dedicated service to the nation.
The gallantry award was conferred by the President of India on the eve of the 80th Independence Day celebrations. The Poumai Naga Officers’ Association (PNOA), Imphal, congratulated Major Paosho on the distinction and said his achievement has brought pride to the community.
The association also lauded his discipline, commitment and perseverance in military service and wished him continued success in his future endeavours.
