Manipur Archer Rojina Hits the Gold’s-Eye; Gold Medal Tally Reaches 12

Feb. 7, 2025: Manipur’s archer Rojina, who had earlier bagged a gold medal in the team event at the 37th National Games in Goa, has clinched another gold medal at the ongoing 38th National Games.

Laiphrakpam Rojina Devi, a resident of Langmeidong, won the medal in the 50-meter Indian Round Women’s Individual event, competing against her rival archer Chandani Chahu from Chhattisgarh at Dehradun Main Stadium this afternoon.

With Rojina’s gold added to the tally, Manipur has now secured a total of 36 medals: 12 gold, 11 silver, and 13 bronze at the time of reporting.
