Feb. 09, 2025: Manipur CM N. Biren Singh submitted his resignation letter to the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on Sunday evening after his return from New Delhi, where he met Amit Shah.
At Raj Bhavan, he was joined by BJP’s North East Co-ordinator Sambit Patra, BJP State President A. Sharda Devi, Ministers Th. Biswarjit Singh, S. Ranjan, H. Dingo, Awangbou Newmei, Th. Basanta, and six other MLAs.
After meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his official residence at 6A, Krishna Menon Marg, this afternoon, his convoy drove straight to Raj Bhavan, accompanied by BJP’s North East Co-ordinator Sambit Patra, who joined him from Delhi.
