Leishangthem Kumarjit Meitei of the Manipur Police Sports Club has brought laurels to the state and the country by securing two silver medals and one bronze at the prestigious World Police and Fire Games 2025 held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA.
Representing India in the Master 50 Years (90kg) category, Meitei excelled in Bodybuilding, Sports Physique, and Arm Wrestling.
A registered athlete of the All Manipur Body Builders Association (AMBBA), his achievements have been widely appreciated by the state’s bodybuilding community. AMBBA has extended its heartfelt congratulations and urged media houses to highlight Meitei’s international success in the interest of promoting sports and fitness.
