Manipur COVID-19 Update: 8 New Cases Reported, 13 Discharged

Manipur reported 8 new positive cases and 13 patients were discharged after completing their treatment, according to the latest release by the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP).

As of July 1, 2025, the state has reported a total of 263 cumulative positive cases since June 1, 2025. Imphal East has reported the highest number of cumulative positive cases, with 62 cases, followed by Imphal West with 178 cumulative positive cases.

In terms of testing, a total of 892 samples were tested across the state, with 43 samples tested on July 1, 2025. The positivity rate for the day was 18.6%.

The IDSP has also reported that 87 patients are currently under home isolation, with 8 patients discharged in the last 24 hours after completing 7 days of isolation. A total of 155 patients have been cumulatively discharged from home isolation after completing 7 days.

Since June 1, 2025, Manipur has reported a total of 92 active cases, with 171 patients discharged and 0 deaths. The state has reported a total of 1,40,303 COVID-19 cases since 2020, with 1,38,062 patients discharged and 2,149 deaths.
