Feb. 19, 2025 : Ipak Films Production’s Manipuri feature film “Yahouthengba Khoimu (Blossom of Love)” has been awarded Best Feature Film at the prestigious All India Film Festival 2024-25, organized by Cine Society, Kolkata, West Bengal.
Directed by Dr. RK Nayansana, “Yahouthengba Khoimu” has garnered acclaim for its cinematic brilliance, earning the Cinematic Brilliance Award alongside other notable films like “Bread & Butter,” directed by Julee Jasmin.
In addition to this accolade, Sushant Shinde’s “Dil Banzara” won Best Short Film, while Dhanajit Huiremgbam’s “Nani” took home Best Documentary honors.
Films in various languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil, were also recognized across different categories.
“Yahouthengba Khoimu,” a 135-minute Manipuri feature film, was also selected for the prestigious International Film Festival of Telangana 2025 and was screened at Hyderabad Press Club on February 16, supported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).
