Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Manipur Chief Minister Y. Khemchand Singh have sent their good wishes on the occasion of Lui-Ngai-Ni, the Naga seed-sowing festival, to all the people of the state, particularly the Naga community.
In his message, the Manipur Governor stated that this “vibrant celebration has grown into a symbol of unity and harmony, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds and strengthening the bonds of social cohesion. It also highlights the rich cultural diversity of Manipur and reinforces the values of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.”
Meanwhile, the Manipur Chief Minister stated, “This festival serves as a timely reminder of the essential values of harmony and mutual respect among all communities. Let us collectively uphold the values of brotherhood, coexistence, and compassion, and work together to build a peaceful, inclusive, and united Manipur.”
The Governor further expressed hope that the festival would be celebrated in its true spirit, inspiring collective goodwill, unity, and progress, and prayed for peace, prosperity, and the continued well-being of the people and the state.
