Imphal, January 26: Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, along with the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), paid tribute to the legendary freedom fighter Rani Gaidinliu on her 110th birth anniversary on Sunday.
While the Chief Minister attended a solemn ceremony at Rani Gaidinliu Park, Mantripukhri, the MPCC observed the occasion at Congress Bhawan, BT Road, Imphal, celebrating her unparalleled contributions to India’s independence and cultural heritage.
The Chief Minister emphasised that Rani Gaidinliu’s indomitable spirit, her dedication to India’s freedom struggle, and her efforts to preserve the cultural heritage of her people continue to serve as a source of inspiration.
He urged everyone to ensure that her legacy remains alive in the hearts of future generations.
