Manipur on Wednesday reported 18 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of infections since June 1, 2025, to 189. As per data from IDSP-75/covid/2020, the state now has 152 active cases.
A total of 59 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. Three patients — all under home isolation — were discharged today, raising the total number of recoveries during the current surge to 37. Among the active cases, 124 are currently being treated at home.
No COVID-related deaths have been reported in the ongoing wave. The cumulative number of samples tested since June 1 now stands at 613.
Since the start of the pandemic in 2020, Manipur has recorded 140,229 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 137,928 recoveries, and 2,149 deaths.
The Government of Manipur continues to urge citizens to follow COVID-appropriate behaviour, especially amid the detection of new subvariants such as LF.7, XFG, JN.1, and NB.1.8.1.
