In a major drive against drug trafficking, Manipur Police arrested two individuals from the Winger parking area at North AOC under Imphal Police Station in Imphal West District.
The arrested persons have been identified as Aziz Khan (22) of Lilong Chingkham Makha Dam Makha and Kh. Sagir Khan (24) of Thoubal Kiyam Leitanpok, both hailing from Thoubal District.
During the operation, the police seized 36 grams and 98 grams of suspected heroin in separate envelopes, four bags, two mobile phones, Aadhaar cards, and ATM cards from their possession.
An investigation is underway to determine the source and intended distribution network of the seized narcotics.
