In an effort towards enhancing cybercrime investigation capabilities, Manipur’s law enforcement took a leap forward as L. Kailun, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), inaugurated a state-of-the-art Cyber Lab at the Imphal East District Police Headquarters.
The inauguration ceremony, graced by senior police officials, marks a pivotal moment in bolstering the region’s response to digital threats.
This initiative promises to empower police with advanced tools crucial for unraveling complex cyber cases, with plans underway for similar labs to be rolled out across other districts.
The newly inaugurated Cyber Lab is poised to revolutionize the investigation landscape, equipping officers with cutting-edge technology tailored for digital forensic analysis and cyber incident response.
“The lab will be of immense help to the police in investigation of cases. More such labs will be established in other districts also,” said Manipur Police in an official statement.
