Imphal, Jan. 31, 2025 : Manipur Police recently conducted a large-scale combing operation in the Thangal Bazar area, focusing on identifying individuals who might be residing or operating without the required Inner Line Permit (ILP). The operation, part of ongoing security measures, aimed to monitor and control the presence of outsiders in the region, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
The extensive operation involved police teams verifying the documentation of individuals in the area. However, despite the thorough checks, no arrests were made, and no violations were identified during the process. Authorities emphasized that the operation was routine, conducted as part of regular security efforts, and did not uncover any significant security concerns.
