Jan. 27, 2025: In a search operation carried out by Manipur Police in the fringes and vulnerable areas of the hill districts, a number of firearms, ammunition, and explosives were recovered on Sunday from the general area of Nepali Basti, Vietum Khullen-Khoken village road under New Keithelmanbi-Kangpokpi District.
The recovered items include:
i) 01 (one) 5.56 mm Heckler & Koch G3 Rifle with Magazine
ii) 01 (one) .303 Sniper (modified)
iii) 01 (one) .22 Pistol with Magazine
iv) 01 (one) Single Barrel Rifle
v) 02 (two) improvised Mortars
vi) 05 (five) .303 live rounds
vii) 02 (two) Chinese Hand Grenades
viii) 01 (one) Motorola Handset (Baofeng)
