Manipur Reports 6 New COVID-19 Cases, Active Tally Rises to 13

Manipur recorded six new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of infections in the state to 339 since the resurgence of cases from June 1, 2025. The data was released by the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP).

The new cases were detected from 25 samples tested in the last 24 hours, indicating a daily positivity rate of 24.0%. Imphal West district continues to report the highest number of infections, followed by Imphal East and Bishnupur.

The state’s active caseload has now risen to 13, with most of the patients currently under home isolation. Despite the rise in daily cases, the recovery rate remains encouraging, with 326 patients having recovered to date.

Importantly, no COVID-19-related fatalities have been reported in the state so far, according to official data. Health officials have urged citizens to continue following COVID-appropriate behaviour and remain vigilant.
