March 29, 2025: The Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, Th. Satyabrata Singh, has sent wishes to the people of Manipur, especially the Meitei and Muslim communities of Manipur, on the occasion of ‘Sajibu Nongma Paanba Cheiraoba’ and ‘Idul-Fitr.’
With heartfelt greetings, the Speaker wrote, “Happy Sajibu Nongma Paanba Cheiraoba to each and every one of you, and Eid Mubarak to all!”
Sending his heartfelt greetings for ‘Cheiraoba,’ the Speaker wrote, “On the special occasion of Sajibu Nongma Paanba Cheiraoba, I wish you all abundant happiness, good health, and prosperity. May the coming year bring peace, progress, and harmony to our beautiful state, strengthening the bond of love and unity that defines us as Manipuris.”
On the occasion of Idul-Fitr, the Speaker said the sacred festival, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is a time of joy, gratitude, and togetherness for our Muslim brothers and sisters. “May the spirit of Idul-Fitr inspire us to strengthen our bond of unity, compassion, and mutual respect, reflecting the rich diversity that makes Manipur so special.”
