The Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, Th. Satyabrata Singh, wishes the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Kang, also known as Ratha Yatra.
“Kang is more than just a religious festival; it is a reflection of our shared culture, faith, and unity,” stated the press statement issued to the media.
As the sacred chariot of Lord Jagannath rolls through the streets, we are reminded of the deep bonds that connect our communities and the values of harmony, humility, and devotion that have guided us for generations, the statement added.
The Speaker also wishes again, saying may the festival bring peace, good health, and happiness to every home, and strengthen the spirit of togetherness in our beautiful state.
