Imphal: Jan 25 : On the eve of Republic Day 2025, several distinguished officers and personnel from Manipur are set to be honored with prestigious awards for their exceptional service in law enforcement and security.
The President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) will be conferred upon Sorokhaibam Rudranarayan Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CID/SB), in recognition of his outstanding contributions to maintaining peace and security.
The Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) will be awarded to Laishram Chaoba Singh, Inspector of CID(SB); Naorem Seilendra Singh, Jemadar of the 1st IRB; Sorokhaibam Santosh Singh, Sub-Inspector of Imphal West; Khaidem Chandra Singh, Jemadar of MPTC; Lenpu Kom, Havildar of the 4th IRB; Lamthianson Chongloi, Rifleman of the 1st IRB; and Athokpam Tej Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Imphal West.
These prestigious awards will be presented in a ceremony tomorrow, recognizing the dedication, hard work, and invaluable service of these officers in upholding law and order in the state of Manipur.
