Bringing pride to Manipur, Phouoibee (The Goddess of Paddy), directed by Rakesh Moirangthem, has been officially selected for the Competition on Indian Languages Film Category at the 31st Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) 2025, scheduled from November 6 to 13 at Nandan, Kolkata.
Produced by Suraj Khongbantabam and co-produced by Shanti Raj, the film beautifully portrays the cultural essence of Manipur and its deep reverence for nature.
KIFF, organized by the Government of West Bengal and accredited by FIAPF, is among Asia’s premier film festivals.
