Displaying grit and power, Rishi Oinam Meetei from Yaingangpokpi Taekwondo Academy, Manipur, brought pride to the state by clinching the gold medal at the CMA Chouhan Mixed Martial Arts Championship held at Jilmil, Delhi, today.
Representing Manipur, Rishi knocked out his opponent from Uttar Pradesh to secure a decisive victory in the championship bout.
Competing under the banner of the Yaingangpokpi Taekwondo Academy, Rishi showcased not only his mastery of martial arts but also the fighting spirit that defines the youth of Manipur.
Son of Oinam Inaoton and Oinam Chandrabali Leima of Thammapokpi, Imphal East, Rishi’s win adds another feather to Manipur’s illustrious sporting legacy.
