The Maring Phurup’s pre-harvesting festival, known as Lamklai Kummoi 2025 (Lamklai Festival), will be celebrated on October 18 at Laiching Kangshang, inside the AMSA Sports Complex, Tengnoupal District, according to reports.
Organized under the supervision of the Maring Uparap Assembly (MUA), the Lamklai Festival Committee 2025 is preparing to host the event with great enthusiasm. I. Yaima, President of the MUA, will serve as the Chief Host of the festival.
Several distinguished personalities will grace the event as Chief Guest, Function President, Guests of Honour, and Special Guests.
The festival will feature two main sessions — the morning session from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and the evening session from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
The celebration will showcase various traditional Maring cultural performances, including folk plays, dances, and songs, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Maring community.
