After a meaningful marathon dialogue, the first-ever meeting between Meitei-led CSO leaders and Kuki-Zo representatives, facilitated by the Ministry of Home Affairs, held today at New Delhi, has concluded in a conducive atmosphere, and both the communities are likely to engage in further dialogue for lasting peace in Manipur.
After the first round of the meeting, which started at 11 a.m., both the communities are likely to meet again during the end of this month, April. From Meitei-led CSOs, altogether 6 delegates, 3 each from AMUCO and FOCS Manipur, took part in the meeting, and 7 delegates represented the Kuki-Zo including executives of Kuki-Zo Council, Kuki Inpi Manipur, Zomi Council, and United Zou Organisation.
