March 28, 2025: Security forces continued their extensive search, focusing on the Bishnupur and Churachandpur border areas, Joujangtek, and Old Cachar Road areas, to trace the whereabouts of the missing 20-year-old Mukesh from Imphal, who went missing on the 16th of this month.
The search team, including Manipur Police, assisted by the Assam Rifles and other security agencies, stated that they are using advanced technical data analysis and intelligence gathering, along with high-level security coordination meetings, to strategize further search operations. They urged citizens to come forward with any relevant information that could assist in tracking the missing individual.
To speed up the search effort, Keisamthong MLA S. Nishikanta also apprised the Manipur Governor on Thursday. The JAC formed also expressed dissatisfaction over the efforts made so far to locate the missing person.
The missing 20-year-old, Luwangthem Mukesh, son of L. Gyanendra Das and L. Omila Devi of Keishampat Leimajam Leikai, reportedly went out from home in a red-colored Alto car towards the Bishnupur area and remained untraceable, as if the young boy has vanished into thin air.
