Manipur International University (MIU) has been conferred the “Best University of Manipur” title under the Pride of Nation Award 2025 at a national-level ceremony held during Vijay Diwas celebrations at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi, on December 16, 2025.
The award was presented at an event organised by Veterans India, an organisation of former servicemen, in collaboration with national education bodies including AIU, AICTE, NAAC, NBA, NETF, and EPSI. Receiving the award, MIU Chancellor Prof. Dr. Harikumar Pallathadka dedicated the honour to the people of Manipur, especially its students and faculty, acknowledging their resilience and commitment to education.
The ceremony was attended by several eminent dignitaries, including Union Minister of State for Defence Shri Sanjay Seth, Prof. Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe (NAAC/NBA/NETF), Prof. Dr. T. G. Sitharam (AICTE), and Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak (AIU).
