JULY 14, 2026 (IMP): BJP MLA of Heirok Assembly Constituency in Thoubal District, Dr. Thokchom Radheyshyam, and MLA Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh of Konthoujam Assembly Constituency have been appointed as Government Spokespersons with immediate effect by an order of the Government of Manipur.
Dr. Th. Radheyshyam, a former IPS officer, was first elected in 2017 as a BJP MLA and later also served as the former Minister for Education, Labour & Employment.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh was a former medical practitioner, first elected in 2017, and he also earlier held the position of Minister of Health and Family Welfare.
