March 6, 2025: Alfred Kanngam S. Arthur, MP (Outer Manipur) and Chairperson of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA), conducted a review meeting at LNC Oldailim Hotel to assess development and coordination efforts in Kangpokpi District.
During the meeting, various departments, including the Public Works Department, PHED, Horticulture, District Industries Centre, Veterinary, IT, District Supply Office, Women & Child Development (ICDS), Health, and Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, presented their achievements and ongoing initiatives under the DISHA scheme. The presentations highlighted the progress and impact of these programs in benefiting the local population.
MP Alfred Kanngam stressed the need for block-wise data bifurcation for better resource allocation and urged officials to expedite pending cases for timely and efficient decision-making.
The meeting was attended by MP Lok Sabha Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka, DC Kangpokpi Mahesh Chaudhari (IAS), SP Kangpokpi Manoj Prabhakar (IPS), ADM N. Shokhonam Baite (MCS), SDOs, CEO SH-ADC Doujapao Haokip (MCS), AC to DC Lamminlal Simte (MCS), and other senior district officials.
