The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) celebrated its 44th Foundation Day with a commitment to rural prosperity today at Hotel Imphal in Imphal.
Dr. Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor of Central Agricultural University, lauded NABARD’s pivotal role in India’s rural transformation, emphasizing its comprehensive approach to development.
Highlighting NABARD’s initiatives in Manipur, Dr. Mishra praised efforts in sustainable agriculture, organic farming, and support for artisans. He commended the bank’s collaboration with Central Agricultural University, fostering rural entrepreneurship and technological innovation.
The event also featured a presentation by Lily Rose Jajo on NABARD initiatives, showcasing the bank’s commitment to fostering self-reliance among rural communities.
