The Department of Mass Communication, Naorem Birahari College, Khundrakpam, observed World Television Day today at the college conference hall, marked by an interactive programme highlighting the impact of television in the digital era.
The event was graced by Assistant Professor Soubam Ibemcha of the Chemistry Department, Head of Mass Communication Dr. Thokchom Vidyarani, Head of Physical Education Usham Nilachandra, and ISCOM News Editor Sanasam Jayjit. Faculty members from various departments and students of Mass Communication also attended the programme.
As part of the observance, an MoU was formally signed between the college’s Mass Communication Department and ISCOM Media Private Limited. The collaboration aims to provide students with professional exposure, internship opportunities, practical training, and job placement support, strengthening industry–academia linkage for media education.
