The Rural Educational Organisation (REDO), Khangabok, in collaboration with Mera Yuva Bharat, Thoubal, organized an awareness program under the Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan campaign at the REDO office complex on Friday.
The event was presided over by Konsham Lokendro Singh, District Advisory Committee on Youth Programme, along with Saikhom Maniram Singh, Vice President, and Thokchom Bishworjit Singh, Advisory, REDO Khangabok.
In his address, Konsham Lokendro Singh stressed the dangers of substance abuse and called upon youths to spread awareness in their communities. Around 30 young participants attended the event, where sports items were distributed to encourage healthy engagement in games and activities.
The youths also took a pledge to lead a drug-free life and work towards a society free from substance abuse.
