The North Eastern Re-Organising Cultural Association Football Club (NEROCA FC) has expressed deep condolence over the demise of late Md. Nurjaman Shah of Kairang, Imphal East District, who passed away on December 24, 2025.
In a press release issued under the signature of Moirangthem Manimohon, the club stated that late Md. Nurjaman Shah was closely associated with NEROCA FC for several decades and served the club in various capacities. He represented the club as a player during the 1970s and later served as Assistant Secretary (1978–79), Secretary (1979–80), Treasurer (1981–82), Vice President (1993–95 and 2002–2007), President (1995–97), and Advisor (2007 till date). His services significantly contributed to the organisational development of the club.
A condolence meeting of NEROCA FC was held on December 25, 2025, at 4:45 pm at the residence of the deceased at Kairang. The meeting was chaired by Thangjam Arunkumar, President, NEROCA FC, and attended by advisors and members of the club. The members conveyed their condolences and shared the grief of the bereaved family.
The meeting concluded with the observance of a two-minute silence in a standing position as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
