NEROCA FC has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of its former player, Khonbantabam Ibobi of Nongada, Imphal East. Ibobi represented the club during the 1994–95 season and is remembered as a dedicated and valuable member of the team.
In a press release issued by Joint Secretary Chingangbam Gaskant, the club informed that a condolence meeting was held on 29 August 2025 at the NEROCA Club House, Sangakpham, with Vice President A. Brajamani chairing the proceedings. Members shared their grief with the bereaved family and observed two minutes of silence in honor of the departed soul.
The release added that the club would never forget Ibobi’s contribution as a faithful player during his time with NEROCA FC.
