The CM, in his statement said “Ima Imoinu Iratpa is celebrated on the twelfth day of Wakching of Manipuri lunar calendar, with traditional gaiety and religious fervor. The celebration is marked with offering of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and fish to Goddess Imoinu, believed to be the Goddess of good moral behavior, besides wealth and prosperity.
As we celebrate the festival, let us seek the blessings of the Goddess for peace and prosperity and to follow the right path in the coming year. Let us also join hands and work harder to make a self-reliant Manipur and move ahead at a faster pace of development. I join the people of Manipur in the celebration of Imoinu Iratpa.
