A one-day free medical camp was organised under the Ayushman Arogya Shivir initiative at CRYDA community by the Chingamathak College Road Youths Development Association (CRYDA) in collaboration with Upper Primary Health Centre, Singjamei. The camp witnessed participation from a team of specialized doctors covering General Medicine, Non-Communicable Diseases, Outpatient Department, Adolescent Health, Child Immunisation, and Women & Child Health.
The initiative aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the local population and raising awareness on various health schemes and issues. As part of the camp, an awareness programme was also conducted on key health-related topics including Chief Minister gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT), Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), heat-related illnesses, and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). Locals were sensitized on the benefits and procedures to avail these government schemes, especially in light of the approaching summer season when heat-related illnesses become more prevalent.
