Feb 20, 2025: In two separate operations in Tengnoupal District of Manipur, security forces recovered a large number of arms and explosives, including hand grenades and Lathode, on Thursday.
An operation in Maojang village, under Moreh police station, in Tengnoupal District, led to the recovery of one (1) AK-56 rifle, two (2) 9mm pistols with magazines, one (1) 40mm Lathode gun, two (2) Chinese hand grenades, two (2) grenades, five (5) handsets with three (3) chargers, four (4) headphones, two (2) slings, and one (1) Kenbo bike.
Meanwhile, from the general area of SL Zougam in Tengnoupal District, security forces recovered three (3) improvised mortars, two (2) musket rifles, one (1) broken magazine, one (1) spotter scope, two (2) binoculars, one (1) monocular sight, one (1) helmet, five (5) bulletproof vests (without bulletproof plates), and two (2) rifle slings.
