Padma Shri awardee Muktamani Moirangthem, founder of Mukta Shoes Industry in Kakching district, called on the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan on Monday.
During the meeting, Muktamani showcased her unique handcrafted woollen shoes, which received appreciation from the Governor for their creativity and craftsmanship. He lauded her entrepreneurial spirit and encouraged her to continue her journey in innovation and enterprise.
Accompanied by three other members, Muktamani also raised certain managerial challenges faced by her industry. The Governor assured them of his attention to the concerns and promised to look into the issues raised.
