The Meitei Pangals have played a significant role in this land and have come through many difficult times. The Meitei Pangals are very unique among the communities of the world, a community that is respected for its religion and greatly appreciated for its language, customs, and food.

However, India, by creating divisions among us, is creating obstacles in the economy and in all fields of this land. It is necessary for the people of all communities to unite and play a role in creating a Manipur without hatred.

Farid Bogimayum, President of PSO, said that PSO Manipur has been organizing this Iftar party annually without fail since its establishment in 2008. It is organized with the aim of living together with love, casting aside any misunderstandings among us who live together, and fostering positive thoughts. He urged that all divisions among us should be set aside and that everyone should work together to create a developed Manipur without hatred.

He further appealed to the Government of Manipur, stating that after the PR government, the new government of this land should quickly help the children and youths who are living in relief camps to return to their homes. He also urged the government to resolve the conflicts in various places and create a Manipur that is a foundation for love.
