Patriotic zeal resonated across Manipur as districts observed the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with rallies, flag hoisting, and community events.
In Thoubal, the Deputy Commissioner flagged off a Tiranga Rally from the Mini-Secretariat Complex, drawing participation from officers, employees, and residents. Across Kakching, Churachandpur, Chandel, Bishnupur, and Imphal West, schools and colleges organised activities promoting national pride, including cultural performances and solidarity marches.
Notable events included the hoisting of the national flag atop Khalong, the highest peak of Nongmaiching Hills, by a team from the Nongmaiching Range of the Central Forest Division, and an 85-metre-long tricolour rally by students of Waikhom Mani Girls’ College in Thoubal. Self-help group leaders in Kangmong and volunteers from NYKS-MyBharat also mobilised local rallies and outreach programmes.
The celebrations reflected the campaign’s wide reach, uniting people from different walks of life in a shared expression of patriotism.
