March 26, 2025 : The Directorate of Health Services, Manipur, has issued a final directive to wholesalers and retailers in the pharmaceutical sector, urging them to renew their expired drug licenses within seven days.
The notice specifies that establishments whose licenses have been expired for more than six months must complete the renewal process immediately.
Failure to comply will invite strict action under the Drugs Act of 1940 and the Drugs Rules of 1945. Issued from Lamphel, Imphal West, the notice was signed by S. Baleshwar Singh, Licensing & Controlling Authority of the Directorate.
