The District Administration of Pherzawl conducted block level training under the flagship Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan at Pherzawl Community Hall on Tuesday. The programme, inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Mannuamching, aimed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to actively contribute to village development initiatives.
Trainers led by Zosanglur Joute, SDO Tipaimukh, introduced participants to participatory approaches including social and resource mapping. These tools are designed to assist villages in creating their own Village Vision Documents and Village Action Plans. The training also highlighted the importance of women taking an active role in local governance.
A parallel training was held at Thanlon village, led by Lalthanzam, SDO Thanlon. Participants there received similar guidance on preparing vision documents and action plans, followed by a Transect Walk to observe community planning on the ground.
Both sessions included an overview of the goals of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan and its alignment with the national vision of Vikshit Bharat 2047. Trainees were encouraged to apply these tools in mobilizing their communities and supporting sustainable village development.
