Manipur Police arrested one suspected cadre of KYKL from the Langol Type III area under Lamphel Police Station, Imphal West District, on January 22.
The arrested person has been identified as Maibam Bronson Singh, alias Thamboi, alias Ngamba (24). According to the police, he was involved in extorting money from the general public and shops.
Meanwhile, in another operation in the Zairol and Uchathol areas of Jiribam District, the Jiribam Police recovered one SMG carbine with a magazine, one 12-bore single-barrel gun, 60 live rounds of ammunition, five UBGL rounds, and two grenades from the jungle. However, there is no report of any arrests.
